What nourishes your soul?

We are dual beings - spiritual and physical. Our bodies are our soul’s home. Much like nourishing our bodies with healthy food, quality sleep, meditation, and exercise, our souls need nourishment and love too. Nurturing the seeds that allow our souls to expand, practicing gratitude and mindfulness, initiating or deepening acts of self-love, and surrounding ourselves with people who lift us up are essential to raising our individual vibration. Each one of us has our own unique energetic signature.

A mantra, crystal, or anything that resonates within can be powerful in assisting with setting and following through with intentions to raise our vibration - making the world a better place.

  • OM = Connectivity

    We use the sacred mantra Om with the utmost respect to the culture it is derived from. If you’ve practiced meditation or yoga then you may be familiar with its profound depth and history. To greatly simplify, Om is the very seed of creation, the all-encompassing cosmic vibration of the universe. It is the vibrational frequency found throughout everything in nature that connects you with your inner sense of understanding and unifies you with one-ness. We have chosen to use this mantra to symbolically acknowledge our powerful connection to all of creation - to the divine and to one another.

  • LOVE = Self Love

    To honor all of creation, we must first honor and love ourselves. Self-love expands from our own individual actions that support the self physically, mentally, and spiritually. Self-love is not about the ego rather it’s the foundation that allows us to connect to our most authentic self. It allows us to practice self-care, set healthy boundaries with others, follow our dreams, and feel proud of who we are. It’s accepting our strengths as well as our weaknesses. It’s about self-compassion and self-acceptance despite imperfections. We can only give love to another as much as we give love to ourselves.

  • LOVE = Loving Others

    Love is a verb, an action, it’s something we do, it’s an active experience. The need to share love with others is universal. Like music, it speaks a “universal language.” Love is part of who we all are. It encompasses even the smallest acts of kindness like sharing a smile, which is shown to have a ripple effect, increasing joy and feelings of positivity. We have the power every day to share love with others. Loving others means showing kindness and compassion without expecting anything in return. As said by Dr. Wayne Dyer, “See the light in others, and treat them as if that is all you see.”

Where it began...

For more than two decades, I dedicated my life to a hectic, self-employed career in photography. Over twenty years of working nights and weekends, long photoshoot workdays, and all-nighters around the holidays resulted in burn-out. I still loved my career but needed the pace to slow down because I wasn’t taking care of myself the way I wanted and needed to. I kept saying, “I’ll take a walk tomorrow” or “I’ll get more sleep tomorrow.” I thought that doing things for myself and taking time for me was selfish, and deep down, I knew if I didn’t slow down, my body would force change upon me. Slowly, very slowly, I began taking steps towards small acts of self-love. I learned the practice of Transcendental Meditation®, made time for the walks, enjoyed nature, and created jewelry to help remind me of the intentions I set to live more mindfully with self-love. I earned teaching certifications in meditation, mindfulness, and yoga. Yoga became a way of living, not just a physical practice. I spent hours upon hours reading, researching, and experimenting with mindfulness and meditation, crystals and their vibrational frequencies, singing bowls and sound therapy, and learned about the power of working with the moon cycles. I became much more self-aware and discovered that my mood would lift when focussing on the present moment and taking deep, mindful breaths. There were simple tools to help me stay on my path when challenges would arise. I discovered a way to stay present and mindful, relieving stress and tension by creating mindfulness tools to keep me centered and grounded. The desire to keep building upon my inner strength, courage, and self-love turned into sharing simple techniques with those I love. It’s beautiful seeing others, also on a journey towards self-love, make their world a happier place, and the world around them, and the world around those around them, raising the overall vibration of our planet because they too discovered the love and happiness they desire is within.

Here, at OM LOVE LOVE®, you’ll find many crystals that work with the heart chakra and many designs inspired by the cosmos. The night sky and Universe are magnificent, which is the inspiration for many of the pieces. Everything you discover here is the manifestation of my inner vision and feedback from trusted friends, meticulously created and curated to align with the mission of OM LOVE LOVE®. I’ve worked one-on-one alongside highly talented illustrators to manifest my vision for artwork. Being a professional photographer has played a significant role in me not only in creating and designing the finished pieces but being discerningly selective with every tiny detail to bring you something special.
